It was just ok, we were not overly impressed. Would we do it again? Probably not! That’s all I got Trip Adviser, make me post 100 characters

It was an easy hour's drive from New Berlin to West Bend. We then did about a 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hour (leisurely) walk through the park. You can also rent golf carts for $30 for 2 hours. There are different animals (goats, elk, deer, sheep, horses, birds) you can feed along the way. You buy a $5 bucket of food at the start of the tour. If you collect all 4 tokens on the walk, you get free ice cream at the end!

Good family fun.

Info and tips-
$30 golf cart rental is optional. I have a foot injury and we have a toddler so we rented one. Definitely worth it. You have the golf cart for 2 hours and most people finish in 1 1/2 hours but they give you a little extra time so you don't feel rushed. We took our time and we finished in 1 hour 50 mins. I

Bring extra pair of clothes if you have a toddler. Our daughter's clothes were dirty from the gravel, mud, and just from being outside for 2 hours with the animals, so I was happy to change her before the long car ride home.

Wolves are the halfway point so you know how you are doing with time at that point.

Cut up the fruit that you bring- example- peel the oranges and cut the apples into wedges before you get there. Full oranges and apples won't fit through fence otherwise.

We brought all of the fruits and vegetables that were listed on the website (apples, celery, lettuce, oranges, carrots), and this is what we had success with...

Animals we saw and what produce they ate-
Black Bears- carrots, apples, oranges
raccoons- grapes
Sheep- carrots
Deer- carrots, grapes
Elk- carrots
Sheep- carrots
Camels- apples, carrots, celery
Prairie dogs- grapes
Grizzley bears- oranges, apples
Horses- apples, carrots
Animals in the petting zoo part at the end of the trail basically ate whatever we had left.

Next time, we will probably only bring apples and carrots since we had the most success with those.

We also saw the following animals but you either couldn't feed them or they only ate the grain you can buy- Badgers, mink, ducks, turtle, lynx, skunk, white tiger, lemurs, cougar, coyotes, wolves, ferrets, ostriches, macaw, tiger

Bathrooms near the gift shop were very clean.

Gift shop was just okay. We didn't end up buying anything. Many of the things in the gift shop weren't related to the animals that we saw.
