I took my father-in-law here. He came out form Indiana before heading to Montana for our wedding. For months all he talked about was shooting the gatlin gun. He shot that and a 45 colt. Life long dream fulfilled. Awesome facility and employees!

This is one of the best museums I have been too. There are 4-5 different areas to check out. Art-awesome, gun collection-very extensive, Native American -fantastic and the nature area was awesome. When you walk into the forest area you will hear all kinds of forest sounds. Very cool. You can also get home cooking over a chuck wagon fire outside before you go in. Good job Buffalo Bill museum personnel. Very unique.

This museum has a wide variety of amazing displays. Of course the guns, ammo, and western historical displays are incredible, but other things are included such as wildlife displays and live birds of prey presentations. The entry fee is good for 2 days and there is plenty to see for 2 days in the facility. Discounts are given for seniors and veterans.

An absolute must for anyone interested in any aspect of the American West, and particularly in firearms. This is perhaps the preeminent firearms museum of North America if not the world. But even those who detest guns will find the museum's western art & Native American displays among the finest in the world as well. The gallery featuring the life of "Buffalo Bill" Cody is fascinating. Wear comfortable shoes and plan on a minimum of one full day - there is a LOT to see! There is a nice restaurant and a gift shop with high quality artwork, books and souvenirs.
