We had a wonderful vacation in the Big island and thanks to Bob & Kady for having such a beautiful property and warm welcome that we enjoyed during our 1 week staying there. We certainly will be back to this wonderful place next time.

Situated on an 8 acre orchard, this newly constructed, charming and well-appointed guest cottage was the perfect central base for exploring the Hilo side of the Big Island. Hosts Bob and Kady were warm and hospitable, and generous with their advice, friendship and homegrown fruits and vegetables. Very close to the Botanical Garden, and only 10 miles north of Hilo.
1 review My partner and I scheduled a last-minute trip to the Big Island and stayed with Bob and Kady for 4 nights on the Hilo side. From scheduling (via their associate Kimberly) to the fast security deposit return, everything went smoothly. B&K made us feel welcome from the start, and while their house is next door to the cottage, the set up allows for lots of privacy all-around. The description of the setting and rental were as-represented, and in addition they've stocked the cottage with lots of information about the area. While the spot is definitely rural--a plus for us-- it's a great base for exploring Hilo/Puna and incredibly peaceful and relaxing/romantic.Thanks B&K!

2 reviews Had a really lovely visit here. The orchard and stream were so beautiful to enjoy every day. Just a quick drive down to Hilo for local attractions, beaches, or about an hour drive down to the Volcanoes National Park. Bob & Kady were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed their company for dinner and they gave us our privacy to enjoy the guest home to ourselves while making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Highly recommendable!
