My husband and I stayed here for three nights in September of 2012. It is a beautiful, private rental very convenient to Volcano National Park. All glass and wood construction; surrounded on all sides by lovely green foliage.
Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals in. Large tub in bathroom with huge picture window was wonderful. Plenty of trees and plants provide privacy. Bed is up a spiral staircase which was not a problem for us but could be for others. The windows go all the way to the top of the ceiling, so the view from the bedroom is amazing as well.
We were able to visit Volcano National Park a number of times by staying here. The park is definitely large and interesting enough to warrant more than one day and it was nice to stay so close.
Working with the owners to rent the cottage was easy. Had no problems at all.
We would stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

A lovely 1 bed room cottage tucked away near Volcano National Park -
We had a wonderful time ! You feel as though you are in the middle of the forest-
Nicely furnished- very comfortable- Bedroom is on a the 2nd floor-
They have a nice sound system with a section of CD"s that make your evenings or morning very relaxing- No TV but they have internet access-
Restaurants /Stores are not within walking distance so bring what you need prior to arrival
Host and caretaker are very easy to work with and are very attentive and responsive once you are there!
