Mahalo nui to the Marriott for First Fridays. As a local resident, I'm so grateful to connect with our quality Island musicians in such a comfortable venue. And thank you to the kitchen for providing very nice reasonably priced pupu's. Great job of supporting the community.

This a newly remodeled hotel converted to Marriott Waikoloa Ocean club. Rooms are nicely decorated with great ocean Views. Food and drinks are ok given the cost which were inflated given portion sizes and few staff serving. For a timeshare program it's average for the following reasons. One of three grills worked. None were cleaned daily given the fact you have no stove to bake or skillet. Marriott should not be gouging it's customers but compensating for the lack of cooking. There are small appliances in a cupboard that are not very helpful. They put cheap small microwaves instead of a convection microwave combination which costs more but they went cheap. We used a covered skillet purchased at Walmart for this week. My Shell vacations club unit in Kona was more dated but had a real stove. When asked the staff tells you the town wouldn't let them. Get your act together by having more than three grills with separate burners for pots. Then order micro-convection ovens replacing the cheap ones. Provide a new wave oven or large cuisine art large toaster oven. Marriott is better than this. Whoever did this build out should be terminated as they don't meet Marriott standards of quality and customer service.

The staff here is some of the friendliest we've ever encountered. The room was great as was the beach access, fish ponds and multiple pools. If you are traveling around the big island, the Waikoloa location is great as it plops you in the middle of the island. The surrounding area is lava fields, but the nice part is its fairly dry and you don't get a lot of rain compared to other areas of the island. I would highly recommend using this as your hotel. The King and Queens shops area was convenient to have nearby as well.

This must have been at least our sixth stay at the Marriott over a period of more than 20 years and this was the finest. The staff at the Marriott are so courteous and professional they make it into a first rate experience every time.

Elizabeth, at the front desk, welcomed us as Marriott members and made sure we had a superb suite with a fantastic view of the always beautiful Anaeho'omalu Bay. She was available for any and all assistance throughout our stay. The housekeeping was top notch, our room was always beautifully attended to first thing in the morning, thank you so much! The landscapers let me interrupt their work to ask about the local flora and the staff in the gift shop were just great. Our thanks to everyone.

Of course, the hotel is great in its own right. We love the bay and were so happy to see the honu population flourishing. The pools and grounds are beautiful and spacious. We always appreciate the size and layout of the Marriott and being able to walk to so many shops and restaurants without having to drive. We will be back.

Great staycation location on the Big Island of Hawaii. Enjoyed the most delicious sangaria while floating in the infinity pool with a live music saranade at sunset. Very relaxing, and highly recommended.
