You can learn a lot about whales and you can find some good spots to find nice photo spots and meet good helpful people.

Speaker (Bo) was very informative and enthusiastic. Did you know the Humpback whale was once a land animal? I didn't! The feeding and mating proportion of the discussion was also very informative. I highly advise a visit.

This is free, but we made a donation to the center because it was terrific. The volunteers are very friendly and welcoming, they quickly engage in conversation and provide a wealth of knowledge on humpback whales, monk seals and other sea life. They also discuss the fish pond/trap outside the center and will point out the snoozing sea turtle.we knew that we were not going to see whales at this time of year so were not disappointed that there were none to see but ev n so the information and educational presentation was well worth the time

This sanctuary was a great place to visit and offered great views and great historical insight on the whales in the past and what we are doing in the present to set up a future for these whales! It is a must visit on your trip!

This is where you can learn what people are doing to help whales that get caught up in nets. They describe their techniques. It is a small place right next to the beach.
