“A lovely dinner”

We are staying at the Westin Villas and Pulehu is arestaurantt in this complex. We at on an open patio overlooking pools and a garden. It was beautiful. The staff was helpful in recommending a wine and entrees. The service was excellent and the food was very good. If you are staying in s complex, don't miss it. If you are not at a Westin facility, it is worth the trip!

“One very enjoyable evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2012

What an awesome experience - I really came in with no expectations - having lived in Maui for a number of years I had come accustomed to the typical tourist restaurant with it's high prices, mediocre service and glitzy but not great food - So when I finished up my meal at Pulehu - I realized: great service, great portions, incredible wine list, perfect pacing for meals and relaxed atmosphere - kind of like walking into a movie you no nothing about and walking out realizing you just watched an classic. Maybe I sound over the top - but I almost swore off eating out in Maui after a string of frustratingly high priced under-serviced affairs.
Giving Pulehu a big thumbs up!

“Fabulous Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2012

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Villas last week and saw an advertisement
for a $40 early-bird special at their restaurante, Pulehu Italian Grill. We both had the Mahi-Mahi (per the recommendation of the concierge) and it was fabulous. Very moist with a flavorful topping. For $40, you had the choice of an appetizer, main course and dessert. The calamari and bruschetta were tasty but we did not finish them as we had to save room for the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. The best I've ever had! Get a table overlooking the koi pond and be sure to make reservations as the special has be ordered between 5:30 and 6:00. Service was excellent.

“Great Italian food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 March 2012

The other night we had the pleasure of being invited to go to Pulehu. We live in Maui and pretty much know every restaurant(especially Italian!) here. My husband had the veal chop-for years he has been looking for a veal chop to rival one he found in a restaurant while in Spain.. This was it..done perfectly. I had risotto crusted pesce. It was amazing and everyone in our party raved about what they had down to the warm chocolate cake, yum!. With these unique and delicious dishes the head chef certainly knows what he's doing. This restaurant rates high on our list for "no ka oui" (the best)

“Italian night at the Westin KOV north.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

A lovely, low key, friendly restaurant with very delicious food! Service is very nice, helpful, and prompt. It has something for everyone on the menu from adults to children. An open air restaurant with koi pond-side seating open only for dinner.
