Description: Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.

Celebrated my anniversary dinner here after getting rained out on Sunday. Kimo's was recommended by a friend, and she was right! Had the grilled mahi mani, Kimo's style. Wow! The rice pilaf is awesome, the mahji mahji was tender, very tasty and excellent. My wife had the striped swordfish, and it was incredible as well. Service was excellent as well, no complaints there.

But the cocktails weren't good, and the seats are not padded. When you leave, you have indents in your butt cheeks. A really nice dinner and great service but get some pads for your chairs, and pour enough alcohol to taste it in your drinks, Kimo's.

Get that going and we'll come back to see you.Thank you for the hula pie dessert for our anniversary, that was awesome as well.

Dinner on the terrace at sunset is the best. Heavy on the fresh seafood...your waiter will explain the various preparations. Check out the hula pie for dessert. One piece will easily serve 2.

We ate at Kimo’s one night after the Ulalena show. It is a nice atmosphere and great seating upstairs overlooking the water. Our waitress seemed nice at first but when we didn’t order drinks she seemed annoyed that we just wanted water. Anyway no big deal, so we ordered and she said she would bring us some bread, well after about 25 minutes of no checking back and no bread our food came. I politely asked if we could still get the bread and she again seemed bothered by the question. She then brought the bread but didn’t check back with us until we stopped her and asked for our check. Not the end of the world but for $90 I expect at least good service to go with great food. Hopefully we just got a waitress having a bad night and this isn’t the norm for Kimo’s.

Had a wonderful sunset dinner. The fish was cooked to perfection and I went for the baked potato with the works. Wife and I split a Hula Pie and we still couldn’t finish the darn thing.
