Daily specials are a nice touch. Service is inconsistent - one day excellent, the next you wonder where everyone has gone. The food is very good but it can be an uncomfortably long wait between your appetizer and main course.
The staff could benefit from some additional training - don't tell dinner guest arrivals that you're full when there are several empty tables in plain view, say that there are tables reserved but that something may open up shortly. Don't tell guests that you don't take reservations when they call in and recommend that they just show up when they wish, and then have someone else tell them that all the tables are reserved when they do arrive. Better coordination in the kitchen may alleviate the inordinately long wait between courses.
