Originally built as private apartments the room was spacious ( understatement ) and had quality furniture, the bed I would like to have shipped home, comfortable, lots of pillows and bolsters. Tv in the bedroom and larger one in the lounge.

Sofa in the lounge opens up to another bed, desk area, fast wifi, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, waste disposal, large fridge freezer, microwave, crockery, pans etc. Even comp washing up liquid! Two coin operated washer/ dryers near underground car park. Safe parking with electric doors.

Lift is on the small side but adds to the charm, free computer in reception area with printer.
Room terrace is nice although skyline views are not as inspiring as they sound, that said you can see the bridge, Alcatraz and bay.

The price is not cheap but the accommodation is huge, couples will be spoilt for space, families will see it as good value.

Now for the best bit, location. You won't need the car, pier 39 and pier 33 (Alcatraz boat) are about a twenty minute walk, loads of restaurants and small shops around, tram up the famous Hyde street go past the door ( terminal one block away) and short walk from the famous crooked street.
Tip 1- book Alcatraz trip as soon as you can, we arrived 12.00 Friday, they had vacancy for 2.55 that day or the next available trip was Monday, use hotel computer, go to alcatrazcruises.com you can see dates/ times available, book and pay on line (adult $26 Inc taxes) and print out you tickets.
Tip 2 - take a jacket, bay can be windy, cells have no heating! Free audio headphones provided, fantastic trip.

Back to the point, would we stay here again - i would move in permanently tomorrow if I could afford it.
Sorry, nearly forgot the staff, saw three whilst we were there, all were charming and helped with local information, this place offers the full package.

Best spot in San Francisco. Ghirardelli Square to the left a block, Pier 39 couple blocks to the right, can't ask for more. The top floor is perfect! What a view!! Nice place to sit and see the area with the 180 degree view. You've gotta check this out!

The location is the key - right in the heart of classic Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco Hyde St. Two blocks up from the Wharf... The cable car stops right outside the door, most things are within walking distance, and the ocean breezes are always refreshing.

Great beds! Very comfortable, nice room, clean. Many hotels in SF are closet sized rooms with views only of the building next door while the suites are like our own apartment, with a big screen TV and even sometimes a balcony overlooking the bay. We will be back!

After 6 weeks on the road, and 14(!!) different hotels, Suites at Fisherman's Wharf provided a great end to a great trip. The rooms are well laid out, the kitchen is very well equipped and the Staff go out of their way to make you feel at home or provide assistance. Superb location, very central yet extremely quiet. Parking, while a little tight, was very reasonably priced at $20 (for SF) We paid $40 in Seattle!! All in all, would definitely return here and have already recommended it to others.
The Roof Garden provides a great view of the Bay and the city.

Room Tip: Towards the back, the rooms appear to be quieter.

This is a prime location for site seeing! We walked everywhere from here, covered about 40 miles by the end of the week! The cable car stops right out front if you'd rather ride. The rooms are beautiful, service was excellent. We had a great time and I would gladly return!

Room Tip: the cable car runs up and down Hyde from morning til about 11pm so you might want to stay on the south side if the noise will bother you.
