Fort Mason Center represented San Francisco's military history, from the Civil War to World War 2. This was once my father's favorite place for the sale of used books to support the facilities' upkeep. Thanks to the organization that preserves this historical location, visitors and locals can enjoy it's significance. Glad that the buildings are utilized for the arts. This place is most enjoyed when it's not cold and foggy. The winds do pick up here.

Fort mason is a destination. There is the famous restaurant, Greens, that attracts people from all over the world. For a good reason. There are Myriad social events there-many winetasting events and the famous annual Orchid show. The SF Public library has fabulous book sales there, too. it’s worth a walk around ...the views are fabulous...

A little tough to reach, but good space for exhibits and Greens is great restaurant. Would not stay away.

We strolled through here after walking from Ghirardelli Square and came across a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. From the top of the hill you are able to see the entire bridge, in what ended up being my favorite view of them all. It is like a painting from this vantage point, it almost does not seem real. The colors are so beautiful in this area.

This location is okay. Everyone is friendly. We were here for a 4 day event. The cost of parking is $14, but there may be a free lot, if you are willing to walk a bit. I did think that the $12/day wifi passcode cost was too high. I paid it because getting a hotspot was difficult with all the metal in the building. The facility gave tables and chairs but we had to bring our own table cloths. The room did have a dry erase board and screen for projection. But we had to bring our own projector. I did like that the trash cans were sorted already making clean up easier for food and recycling. The best part was the food trucks that came for the farmer's market on Sunday morning. RoliRoti was the best.
