After our meeting in the financial district, we wanted some piping hot comfort Japanese ramen and We saw this place across the street while we were walking on Kearny Street and decided to take a look. It was small but cozy and warm on a cold day. There was a table for two with our name on it in the back near the kitchen.
We were in the mood for some soup noodles so we ordered the chicken dumpling organic chicken noodle soup and the tonkatsu ramen. Both had plenty of meat (his - chicken dumplings and pieces of chicken, mine- plenty of pork belly) along with spinach and mushrooms). They were tasty hearty bowls of soup with meat, veggie and ramen, which hit the spot. We could see where the food was coming from and how the chef was preparing the bowls from where we were seated. There are seats at the counter for singles and it's amazing how many people are packed into this small space. We enjoyed our bowls of ramen on this cold blistery day. Come before 12 if you are looking for lunch
