Stayed here last year for 3 nights, this year for 2 nights....enjoyed it so much! This is an awesome place to stay, eco-friendly, great restaurant, nice amenities...worth the price! if you're staying on the weekend, be sure to go to the farmer's market at the Ferry Building! This hotel is so convenient to the Embarcadero area!

Room Tip: I prefer a room with a view of the Bay Bridge..they are more expensive however.

Stayed one Saturday night w/2 children in tow (ages 9+13) and it was great. Upgraded us
to a slightly bigger room upon checking in. 2 queen beds w/view of Bay Bridge and Ferry Building.
Comfortable bedding, great bathroom w/Fresh toiletry products, clean/contemporary decor. Quiet night's sleep. Had the valet take the car to lessen the hassle - $48 for overnight and could use the car in that time period as much as we needed. Great breakfast at restaurant in the hotel in the morning. All in all - great stay. Love proximity to Ferry Building across the way for easy lunch/dinner and view of bridge/water was nice.

We stayed in a Superior Water View King Room 449. We looked out onto the bay, Oakland Bay Bridge and The Embarcardo. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is across the road from the ferry buildings where you catch the ferry to Alcatraz, Sausalito and tours of the bay. In some of these buildings, there are shops, cafes and bars. Keep walking along the waterfront and you come to Fisherman's Wharf where there are heaps of restaurants to suit any palate, amusement rides and many more shops. The walk is not far, you do not relise how far you have walked when you are looking at shops etc..If tired, the Muni (tram) runs along the waterfront. Union Square, Chinatown, and more shopping is about a 5-10 min easy walk. The room and bathroom was a good size and clean. It had modern decor and a great bar on the ground floor where we had a nightcap every night and chatted to the very friendly bar staff. Breakfast was good, but way too much food for us and most meals comes with potatoes. The restaurant staff were very accommodating and will modify the meal if requested. We found the hotel staff to be very polite, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

SO this is our hands down favorite hotel in SF. You cannot find a better view. 2 downsides to the rooms for the more discerning (picky or private) patron....the bathrooms are not really too private- there is a sliding door that makes it pretty easy to hear whats going on. Also, there is limited closet space in the average room. We love the circular suite...a must do for a special occasion and probably worth the splurge (700$ per night); absolutely beautiful. Room service and all service is fantastic and Bar Americano is fun, though crowded with thirty somethings on Thurs, Fri, and Sat. Concierge Monique is an amazing person; very kind and helpful. One other thing....no storage in the bathrooms, so bring your essentials in an organizer that you can stow.

Room Tip: Try the circular suite...to die for Otherwise, splurge for a Waterfront King; views are incredible. Don't overpack....closet space is limited.

Fabulous room with breathtaking view of SF Bay and appealing modern decor. The sort of place that you could commit to waking up at every single day for the rest of your life. Its location just opposite the ferry building is second to none in San Francisco, and is extremely convenient to the hip restaurants in SOMA, etc. I would definitely stay here again (and again)! The price, though high, reflects the location and quality delivered.
