Jay is a charming tour guide that has been doing this walking tour for over 20 years. He has tons of history and architectural knowledge that he's quick to share. Jay has also selected a walking route that is mostly flat (only one down hill). (After walking the hills from Union Square to China Town to the piers the previous day, I was glad this was not strenuous but mainly a stroll. We end up in Cow Hollow a cool part of San Francisco with eclectic shops and restaurants (no franchise stores here) and had lunch at Perry's, a cool restaurant in a victorian era building.
