The location is good - close to Fishermans wharf but a few blocks away so relatively quiet. The room was small but adequate with a small bathroom. Comfortable bed.
Nice small bar with a lovely open air garden seating area. Staff all very helpful.
We did not eat in the restaurant so can't comment.
Close to the cable car turnaround and to lots of bike rental outlets.
We had some concerns about all the reports of intimidation by homeless people, but the area felt quite safe day and evening.
One criticism is the "resort fee" - an extra $25 dollars for basically nothing except WiFi and the opportunity to use some hotel bicycles if available. This is essentially an extra charge for nothing - why not just be honest and include that charge in the room rate?

We stayed here for 7 nights whilst being away with friends. It was our first time in San Fransisco and I can honestly say the welcome we received when we arrived was great and set the tone for the whole stay. The rooms were large, modern and clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom good with plenty of light. The hotel reception team were always friendly and polite. The lounge area and the outside courtyard were lovely. My only criticisms were the shower was not string enough, more of a trickle than a deluge of water and if of liked the bar in the lounge to have been opened in the day rather than just an evening. There is noise from the street, road noise etc which can be heard in the bedroom we were in, but honestly we got use to it after a night or two I can’t say it was a big problemThe location is fab just two blocks away from a Fisherman’s wharf and pier 39, it was an ideal location. The concierge was excellent, she was very helpful and booked a couple of trips for us, she even printed off tickets for us for trips we had not booked through them, she talked to us about where to eat and drink etc and gave us a number of vouchers, she really helped us make the most of our visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel when we come back to San Francisco we will be staying here - thank you!!

Stayed 6 nights in oct 2018.

The location is great been 2 blocks back from the main tourist area of fishermans wharf / pier 39, which is only a 5 minute walk away.

Plenty of food options around and shops. The room was fresh and comfortable. The rooms were on the smaller size, parking is expensive and there is a urban fee. These negitives are probably the same for most hotels in the area, so cant be to upset about it. I would highly recommend to stay here for couples visiting San Francisco, big bus Hq, ghirradhi square, cable cars, freshmen wharf, lomard street and etc are all within walking distance.

My wife and I stayed here recently for a long weekend. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We arrived in town early and got to the hotel around 10:30 in the morning. Fully expecting to drop our bags and leave for a few hours, we were warmly greeted at the counter. There was a mix-up with our Expedia reservation (on Expedia's end, not the hotel), but the hotel staff promptly got the problem under control. Our room was already available to us at this early hour! The room was on the smaller side, but very nice and was perfect for the 2 of us. The location was great and within walking distance of most of Fisherman's Wharf. We would recommend to anyone!

My wife and I took our first trip to SF for our anniversary and wanted to stay down around Fisherman's Wharf. We made the right choice with Hotel Zoe. Very easy walk to surrounding sites like Pier 39, 43, Ghirardelli's and Cable/Street Cars. We also loved the hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Our type of room wasn't ready when we checked in (a bit early), but they graciously upgraded us to a corner room with lots of windows and separate living room. If you don't want the maid service coming in daily, you can opt out and get a $5 credit per night. We had enough for a wonderful desert from the in-house restaurant. Bed was very comfortable, good sized room and bathroom. Just an overall wonderful experience for our first time to SF. Thank You Hotel Zoe!!!
