We first stayed here 12 years ago and it felt like little had changed which to us was not a bad thing. The room and bathroom was as small as we remembered, but clean and serviced each day. Only gripe was very low water pressure in the shower. At the end of a long trip the new laundry facilities were useful.
Unfortunately the restaurant next door to the hotel which we had enjoyed before has changed into what appears to be more of an upmarket bar serving largely pizza, pasta and fried food which was not to our taste, but may suit others.
The plus for us is that the hotel is very close to a Cable Car stop, the MUNI trams, Westfield shopping centre with a large food court, and in walking distance to a BART station which we used to and from the airport. Would stay here again.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking time to write a nice review of our property. We are grateful that you thought of the Mosser Hotel again after 12 years.
Yes, we are centrally located and walking distance to the city's famous attractions. Our restaurant was renovated in 2017 and offers a menu full of contemporary Bay Area fare. I love ordering their spaghetti squash with kale bolognese sauce. It hits the spot.

We hope to see you again soon.

Sincerely,
Yvonne

This hotel was exactly what we wanted, more than we was expecting! Nice welcoming hotel with friendly staff and a very safe feel to it, nothing fancy but comfortable and clean nonetheless. Room was fairly small but when your exploring all Day all’s you do is just straight into bed anyway. Price was great for what we got, would definitely visit again if I was to return to dan Francisco one day.

Most of the positive reviews talked about what a good deal this place was. I was paying more than $300 a night and did not think that was a great deal for a tiny hotel room that had the sink with a tiny soap in the bedroom, a TV that did not work, pillows that were so old to be completely without any fluff left, street noise, and a $75 deposit on top of the rate quoted that is not refunded until seven days after the stay. The only positives: clean, good Wi-Fi, and no bedbugs.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it’s apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.
Sincerely,
Yvonne

I enjoyed my short stay here very much. My room was very clean and had everything I needed. The room was quaint, and included a full bathroom. The staff were very friendly and accommodated all of my needs. Overall, great value for SF. I will definitely stay here again!

Location was in the city but the price of the parking here was $56 dollars a night which is very expensive!! We paid it as we didn’t want to leave the car unsafe anywhere, the room was incredibly tiny! And no safe to keep our personal things locked away, bathroom was nice with two robes aswell, location wasn’t bad only a couple of minutes walk to restaurants and bus and train stops which was good.
