My initial impression upon walking up to get my key card "wow, we've outdone ourselves this time". Rooms appear to have been recently upgraded with a comfortable bed, good lighting, carpeting, and tile in the bathroom. Fridge is in the desk -- perfect for leftovers.

I stayed at the beacon grand for a work trip and the experience was lovely. The entire staff took such great care of me and were not only helpful but kind! As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe and the room was a dream! Also loved the sustainable aspects of the hotel. I parked my car overnight and Valet was so easy, I did feel that the overnight parking fee per night was a little high at $69 but the convenience was worth it. The bar/dining area was gorgeous and the food and drinks were top tier. This will be my new go to hotel in SF!

Nice redo of a classic hotel. Rooms and hotel were nice. Hardwood floors felt a little too “harsh/hard” for a comfortable stay. Other than that, really nice hotel. The Starlight lounge was being remodeled so didn’t get to experience it.

This hotel was gorgeous and quite grand indeed. The remodel left a lot of the wonderful old feel of San Francisco while updating it in a way that blended in appropriately. The location was close to everything we needed and the valet made parking very easy for us.

The room was sub-par - very small bathroom and a weird hole in the glass shower door which if not plugged with towels made the bathroom floor very wet. Our upgraded "view" was of the roof. The service and staff were very good - the bed was extremely comfortable.
