Wonderful staff. In the heart of Bayfield. Close to everything or only a few minutes drive to the orchards. I love it because everything is locally owned.... no big chains. Food is wonderful....using a lot of locally grown produce and the fish is amazing. Apple fest is coming up in October.....CHECK IT OUT!

This condo was spacious, had a very well equipped kitchen, and was in easy walking distance of ferries, restaurants, and shops. Unit was exceptionally clean, a big plus. Bed was a bit soft so if you have back problems this may not be the unit for you. . As this is a ground level unit, it made unloading of luggage and 'stuff' easy. Patio was the perfect spot for a late afternoon glass of wine and relaxing. Unit has window air conditioning units, a bit noisy at times. Breakfast provided by Bayfield Inn is indeed a 'light ' one; breads, muffins, coffee cake, juice, coffee. Bayfield Inn has a very friendly staff!! I would book again if I was in the area.

Th Bayfield Inn operates many properties in Bayfield. The main motel is quite nice and right on the water. Their breakfast was a bit lacking, but decent. It consisted of toast (homemade breads), muffins, fruit, juice and coffee. We stayed 3 nights in the Garden Guest House, which is across the street fom the motel. I think there are 5 rooms in this house. We stayed in #1, which faced the lake and had it's own deck. The room was cozy, but very nice quality. It had a nice kitchenette and a king sized bed with a pull out sofa. The Wifi worked well and there was private parking behind the house. The room on the 2nd floor is probably the best room in the house. The other rooms didn't appear to have much of a view. We also enjoyed the outdoor bar on the motel's roof, but didn't check the indoor bar. We stayed during the week and didn't see any loud partiers as some others have mentioned. It's well within walking distance to most everything in Bayfield. Definitely worth your consideration.

We set up our condo reservation through The Bayfield Inn. The lady on the phone was extremely helpful in letting us know our options for the Inn, as well as other condos that they manage. We chose the Boatworks Condo #202 and what a great choice it was! The pictures on the website show the condo very well, it's extremely clean & spacious, fully equipped kitchen, and it has a balcony with a partial view of Lake Superior where you can watch all the boating activity. It's perfect for sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine as you watch the sun set.

Other amenities: You get a reserved parking spot. Walk 1 block to the Bayfield Inn for their complimentary light breakfast.

Location is perfect and close to many bars, restaurants, and shops. Since it rained for part of a day, we hit up some shops worth stopping in: Sweet Sailing, Winfield Garden Emporium, Apostle Islands Marina, and Monkey Business. For an excellent italian restaurant owned by a couple, try Ethel's At 250 on Rittenhouse Ave!

I needed some assistance with faxes and Ron Madich, the Proprietor, was extremely helpful & courteous. Upon checkout, Ron was anxious to hear about our stay and wanted to make sure we were fully satisfied and we were!

Ron - We had a great visit to Bayfield thanks to you and we will be back again!

Room Tip: Boatworks Condo #202 was perfect with a Bay View, balcony, and kitchen!
