although it was a chilly night, the Ghost tour was wonderful. Rick Garland is a great story teller. I look forward to taking his tour again.

There is nothing better than a perfect combination of history and spookiness. I am an avid "ghost hunter" and thought Rick's tour was wonderful. Great story telling mixed with history and a dash of creepiness, that made for a really great evening. This is the tour you need to take when visiting Harper's Ferry. An absolute must for the whole family.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time on the ghost tour! It was probably about 30 degrees outside but that didn't matter much to us, we were too concerned with all the ghost stories that Rick Garland was telling. He knows a great amount of history, so you really get to know the time period that the ghosts are from. Plus there are a lot of more modern stories, which make it even more believable. My boyfriend still refuses to walk down Hog Alley!

Rick Garland's ghost tour was fantastic! It was just the right amount of historical information about the town and ghost-related fun. Rick tailored the trip to the group and made it really comfortable. When it got too cold outside, we went inside for hot chocolate and ghost stories. This is definitely a great way to get to know Harpers Ferry!

My fiance and I planned a weekend getaway and chose to add the ghost tour to our evening plans. I had called 4 days prior to schedule our evening. The night of the tour, there were wind chills of -4. Rick called us a few hours prior and suggested we go for ghost stories by the woodstove instead to which we happily agreed.. We were greeted by a cozy warm room and hot chocolate. Being a historian, Rick was able to paint an excellent picture of the town in the days of the war. We would definately attend this tour again, rain or shine.
