This hotel is so old and unkept. The carpet (from the 70s-80s era) had a big tear in it. We had to clean the pool which was full of leaves in order to use it, and had to wipe down the chairs before we could sit in them, they were covered in the dust that blows there. Breakfast was pancakes already cooked and stacked up on paper plates, with no butter. We had to ask for milk for the cereal, and there was no juice. There was also nowhere to sit! We were told we could take it to our room or out the the pool, but carrying drinks, plates and getting in and out of several doors & gates was very unpleasant. We thought this was a historical place, but its just a run down hotel. Yes, its family ran, but can see they are counting the days to retirement. They also had to keep re-booting the internet to make it work, which was stressful, as I was trying to make other reservations for our trip. It was way over priced compared to the other hotels. The beds were comfy though, and the giant old TV's were interesting.
