We stayed at the Rustic Inn for one Saturday night because it was the only place in Moab that had rooms left. It wasn't a bad choice. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room is equipped with a fridge, microwave , and set up for eating in the room and would be a good place to stay long term. Only weird thing is that the kitchen sink doubles as the bathroom sink. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would consider staying here again if we come back on a budget.

Prices for motels in this area are generally twice the usual price, especially the brand names. We were pleasantly surprised to find this little 2 story place a block off the noisy main drag. I thought the price reasonable by comparison. Staff were all helpful and friendly, offering suggestions and providing information if asked. Our room (for 3 of us) was larger than most I've visited in the area. It even had a small kitchen with full size fridge, sink, microwave, dishes, coffee maker, etc. Linens were quite decent - fluffy towels, newer bedding, comfy & clean mattress. The bath had been modernized with tile and low tub/shower combo. This was the only thing I would criticize, as the tub was so very low that a grab bar should have been installed ( I suggested this to management ).

When I booked, I asked if there was a continental breakfast and was told no - only coffee and tea. So we were pleasantly surprised to find mini -muffins and a nice assortment of fresh fruit in a basket in the office. But, with the wonderful and reasonably priced little Moab Diner within walking distance, it really didn't matter!

Room Tip: With only 2 stories to this small motel, we preferred the top floor and away from the pool.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review for us. We have just updated our amenities and bedding this year and we do take pride in our customer service and our southwest lodge style rooms. Our rooms are a great value for Moab, most places in Moab are significantly higher priced. Thanks for staying with us. We hope you will return to stay again soon.

Location is off the main street so it is quiet. Very good mattresses. Large room with 2 queen beds. Plenty of storage space. Full size frig. Microwave. Dishes and silverware. Nice pool area. Hoses to wash off your car. Very good towels. Even though there isn't a mirror in the bathroom there is a huge mirror over the double sink in the kitchen along with plenty of counter space so no mirror in the bathroom is not even an issue. Free ice. No breakfast but there is coffee and apples and oranges. What keeps me from giving an excellent rating is not sure of the clean factor. When we walked into the room it smelled of coffee. The filter had not been taken out of the machine nor did it appear the coffee pot had been cleaned. Huge kitchen sink so I took care of that and then the smell left the room. This made me question the clean factor. I believe the room is surfaced clean but not good clean. I would stay here again. A little more effort can be put into the cleanliness of the rooms.

We wanted to spend a night in Moab, but not spend more on our hotel than we did food and gas. We found Rustic Inn and booked. We were very impressed with the check in process. The lady at the counter was very kind and helpful. The place is clean and the pool was great for the kids! My husband normally stays at different hotels, different times of the year here and we will now give our business to Rustic Inn. The place is a little dated, but had fridges with freezers and microwaves. The only negative is no breakfast, but they did have fruit and coffee.

I stayed at the Rustic Inn for only one night. We had the Suite with two bedrooms and a pull out couch. Lets face it pullout couches are never comfortable. A futon would have been better. The kitchen was a good size and dinning table large enough for 6 people. Very close to Main Street and all of the restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with our needs. A great place to stay and I wish we could have stayed for more nights
