I was in the mood to try some down home local cuisine and hit the jackpot at Black-Eyed Pea! A pretty busy place, I was seated immediately. The menu offered many tempting choices and I opted for the pot roast with choice of 2 sides (squash casserole & green beans. Beans were awesome, squash, so-so). A basket of 2 pieces of cornbread and 2 delicious house made rolls. I had a huge, bottomless fresh fruit juice/tea blend. The entire meal was under ten dollars! So tasty and cheap, I ordered 2 more meals + desserts for dinner later. Bill total for 3 yummy meals: $33.82. And the blackberry cobbler was AMAZING (the apple, very, very good). My server was super friendly and informative of things around town. Highly recommend.
