This is the best of Asheville's hotel properties. Attended a two day business meeting and both room and business space were perfect. Hope to return with friends and family. Food was perfect as well. Thanks for a great visit.

Truly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Bohemian. It's a beautiful property, warm and inviting. Every employee we encountered was friendly and professional. When we opened the door to our room music was playing - such a nice touch! As was the fur blanket on the bed! The bathroom is huge with nice soap amenities. We loved coming back to the hotel at night, getting a glass of wine and sitting by the fireplace. We also enjoyed all of the art and sculpture. Bed was very comfortable, and we always travel with a sound machine, so noise was not a factor and our room faced the street. Internet connectivity was seamless.

We would most definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

I love the Grand Bohemian hotel line, and this one is no different. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff friendly, and the rooms are so comfy. This hotel is a great location, very close to the Biltmore estate and village....also not far from an access point to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The bar/restaurant is also very good, as is room service.

Perfect locati9n near Hospitals (work) and being at the gate of the Biltmore, play beckons after hours. Love this luxury hotel, and the Artwork by Mitch Kolbe is so outstanding, it beckons you not to depart. Ever.........

Room tip: Staying in the main house is preferable to the Manor House, just for convenience to the lively, yet relaxing bar, and incredible food!

We will not return to this hotel, as charming as it looked online and as nice as the room appeared in photos, and as kind as the reception staff is.

If you want to actually sleep, stay somewhere else. Freight trains will wake you at Midnight, 2am, 4am, 6am... It's not just their whistles that let you know for a couple minutes that they're coming through, but the rattling of the windows takes the cake. We love historical places, and have seen ear plugs placed at turn-down due to single-pane glass in a city. But this was awful. Awful.

The room service breakfast (door-hanger menu) was quite good. A marked contrast to our attempt to get dinner at the restaurant the night before, where we had to ask 3 people behind the bar more than one time for a wine list.

Dear CabFrancophile,

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback regarding your experience. We greatly appreciate your favorable comments about our reception staff and room service breakfast.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the train noise that you experienced during your visit. It certainly appears the trains were much more active than normal. If given another opportunity to regain your trust, we can assign you to a room in a different section of the hotel that would better meet your needs. In addition, we do have ear plugs available in situations when the trains are more active overnight. Your lounge comments have been shared with our Food & Beverage Director so the necessary corrective measures can be taken to ensure that we provide our normal high level of service.

We hope that you will provide us with another opportunity to deliver an overall experience that better represents our commitment to exceeding our guest's expectations. If given another opportunity, we are confident that your experience would be much improved.

If we can be of additional assistance, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Sincerely,
John Luckett
