Everything about Curate is perfect. From the slow careful preparation of each small plate to the variety of offerings. The high ceilings and spacious seating create a low decibel environment for a quiet dining experience. Try the olive jar with several varieties including the smallest ones I have ever eaten. Inspired by Catalan tapas they match the originals with offerings of scampi, pulpo, calamari, and other seafood. I started with a wild mushroom soup that set the bar for the rest of the meal. The three of us ordered more than a dozen plates and the final check was surprisingly low. A lovely server was the desert. A must do when in town.

I would highly recommend this place to go for sure on your next visit to Asheville. We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and liked the ambience, food, and excellent service. We went by our servers recommendation and they were all spot on. For appetizer to start with we ordered Pan con tomato with manchego cheese followed by Migan con verduras, pincho moruno. Great place for a celebration dinner.

We had a fabulous experience at Curate for our 15th anniversary! It was difficult to make our choices because everything seemed so tasty. Our waiter was eager to answer any questions, and make suggestions based on our questions. Each tapas dish that came out just got better and better. The dishes are filled with subtle, yet amazing, flavors. Curate is definitely a place you want to experience. We are anxious to return!

We tried to go to this place a few times, and were uanble to get a table. We got luck this time around to enjoy a dinner. Servers are quite knowledge. They have shaved meats on site. Spanish/Italian flair. The chef has won many awards. Awesome collection of Tapas. REcommend them all. We ate almost 7-8 tapas and then Spanish Rice with Chicken Dish with some good White Wines.

When you make your reservation at this 4 Star tapas restaurant, ask for a seat at their "dining bar!!!" {This tip is probably best for a party of two instead of a crowd,} but not only will you have the best tapas this side of Barcelona, but you will be treated to the show of the well rehearsed sous chefs preparing food for everybody in the place! This was exceptional food with great service and the addition of a "look behind the curtain" on tapas preparation.

The menu is large so I can only review the items that we ordered on our visit, but I am sure everything is delicious and expertly prepared. We had; chorizo wrapped in homemade potato chips, mushroom soup, shrimp with garlic, and octopus. One dish was better than the next. And wash it all down with the best sangria that I've every had, INCLUDING Spain, and you will write a review as ebullient as all the others written about Curate. GO!!!!!
