We stopped for a couple night stay in Asheville. As others have said, it's in a great location, and is a good value. The room was very clean; housekeeping did a nice job, and you could smell the sanitizer. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient.
The downside is, it's showing its age. If you're expecting a Marriott or Hilton, this will disappoint you. It feels a bit like you walked back in time to the 70s or 80s in terms of styling. Management has painted over some of the blemishes, but the place really needs an overhaul.
Still, if you're looking for a place to stay in Asheville close to the shopping district and don't want to spend a ton of dollars, take a look.More
