I have attended quite a few productions at the Asheville Community Theatre and it's smaller stage space, 35below. All have been excellent. This community theater has existed since 1946, with Charlton Heston being its first director. Renovations have just been completed, including new seating and an amplified system for those with hearing aids. "The Producers" is simply GREAT theater and GREAT entertainment, and it is over-the-top campy! This show is running until Sept. 10th--go see this FUN production! Metered parking is available on the surrounding streets, with free meter parking on Sundays in downtown Asheville.
