If you like to stay in cute small cabins, this is it!!! We were very impress by how clean it was, it has everything you'll need. But best of all: NO BUGS!!! Being an old place, we were expecting bugs crawling all over the place at night. We didn't see one!!!

We had cabin 19 in a cluster of log cabins in a naturally wooded setting. The cabins are nicely spaced apart. We had 2 bedrooms, a bath, full kitchen and large living room. They are rustic, but with all necessities and clean. Dogs welcome. Nice front porch for coffee and individual grills. There is a German restaurant near the entrance, and it is an easy drive to other eating places. Located about seven minutes from downtown Asheville. I rated it at 4 only because of the proximity of the interstate. Vehicle noise covered the sound of the birds. The noise was really only bothersome outside. Pick your cabin, and your bedroom, accordingly.

We liked this place a lot. The staff were nice and helpful, the cabin was clean, the cabin had everything we needed. It was a great place for our family to stay. Nice porch to hang out on, good location.

We stayed for 3 days. 2 adults, 3 young children. Great location. Good to get back to basics. Highly recommend if your are looking for a base of operations for a week of camping, hiking, kayaking or taking in a baseball game.

We booked through Air BNB, but I feel it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. The property is nice and we got a cabin with a gated yard for our dog. The inside is very old and rustic. The normal amenities you expect in a hotel are not quite here. It was $98 a night and we booked 2 nights. By the time you add all the "fees" we paid over $300 for 2 nights. Still cheaper than a one night hotel stay, but you have to take your sheets off the bed and put out the trash. It's not horrible, but I was very honest in saying, we probably will stay somewhere else next time. Let's just say....after running a 1/2 Marathon, I wanted a HOT shower and was barely able to get to Luke warm.
