The place is small and only a few tables, but it was clean and friendly.
I had the vegetarian combo platter. The falafel was excellent, with lots of coriander, giving it great flavor and bright green color. The baba ghanoush was outstanding with touches of mint an lemon. Tabooli was very good to, and very fresh.

My wife had a lamb kebab roll-up, which was delicious, with excellent seasonings.

Prices very reasonable.

Really good tasting Middle-Eastern. They don't have the nicest store front or seating, but if you don't care about stuff like that and just want to pick up some delicious well made food, Azama's the way to go. They make my favorite shawarma/kebab roll ups, but they also have awesome falafel, hummus, and others (their Egyptian fries aren't much other than thick cut fries with aioli but they're always hot and tasty). The guys there are super friendly, and they're happy to make stuff relatively customized (spicy/not spicy, whether or not you want veggies, etc). It's pretty popular in the area as a place for drunk-munchies after going to the nearby bars, but I've had their food for lunch and dinner many times as well. It can take a while for the food to come out since they make everything to order. I recommend putting in an order online for pick up if you don't want to wait, but they also do delivery.

Best shawarma wraps in Boston. They come with tahini sauce and a delicious spicy sauce. The Egyptian fries, which come with aioli, are also delicious. The guys that run it are really friendly. Open late and great place to grab food after a night out.

Very decent middle-eastern food. Lamb shawarma was fresh, spicy, and came with a tangy tahini sauce and freshly-cut salad. The owner is nice and friendly - I watched him give credit to a guy who didn't have enough cash on hand.

While in town with my fellow band members, we decided to try this place prior to our performance since it was very close, reasonably priced and offered Middle Eastern menu. Why this place does not have more reviews is a mystery to me. Yes, it is no more than a "hole in the wall" kind of place, but the chicken shawarma wrap and the falafel balls are first rate. If you are in Allston, you owe it to yourself to have a meal at Azama.
