This was a business dinner for six. I won't be able to name everything, but I'll describe anything that I at least shared in. The table shared BEEF TENDERLOIN, MASHED POTATO & WHITE TRUFFLE OIL, which was excellent. The mashed potato texture, combined with the cheese texture was a surprise. On ordered and shared SEARED FOIE GRAS WITH CONFIT OF DUCK IN BRIOCHE, WISCONSIN DRIED CHERRY GASTRIQUE which was bursting with RICH flavor. My wife and I shared the STEAMED BLACK MUSSELS WITH SMOKED TOMATO MARINIÈRE, which was made special by the tomato mariniere permeating.
My main course was the Colorado lamb chops. The servicing was generous at six, thicker than average chops, as tender as I've ever had, anywhere in the world. My wife had the GRILLED TENDERLOIN OF BEEF, VIN ROUGE, OLIVE OIL ROASTED BROCCOLINI & HORSERADISH WHIPPED POTATO, which was tender and tasty. I'd say it was a top level piece of meat, but simply very good. One raved about the Dover sole. I'm forgetting what the others had, other than a couple of more tenderloin.
For dessert, I had the homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream and my wife had the ginger toffee cake. Both were "special". Several, including my wife, had lemon cello, which was fine.
All of this was paired with a couple of bottles of exceptional wines. The wine list includes some very special wines, at appropriate prices (expensive).
Everything was very good and a few things were exceptional.
