Description: Welcome to Caffe Paradiso, an authentic Italian caffe in Boston’s North End since 1962. It has truly been a privilege for us to bring a taste of Italy, day in and day out, to our Metropolitan and out-of-state patrons. Now managed by the third generation of our family, we still make our award-winning gelato fresh on the premises and have the best cannoli in Boston. Please stop by to savor the true “gusto” of our cappuccino, espresso, gelato or martini. We’re family run business with a deep Italian heritage.

Great place to hang out after dinner for drinks and dessert. I frequent the Caffe as often as I can. The coffees and drinks are always well made. The tiramisu is excellent! I don't know if they make it there or not and I don't care. I've been eating this since the 90s and I'm NEVER disappointed! I bring friends here all the time. I bring this tiramisu to friends' houses and to family events - everyone raves! At the caffe we're always treated well and feel welcome. We can hang out as long as we like and never feel rushed. The service is very hands off and when busy you may have to try to get someone's attention at your table, but it's not obnoxious. Will continue to come back for many more years.

Another place we stopped to sample on our Little Italy/Freedom Trail tour. We found a counter of pastries, cakes, etc. and got the chocolate cannoli. They had the ricotta cake, which I wanted, but we were just sampling and my husband says he won't eat ricotta, lol... We both got a coffee from their international menu, which had a nice assortment, and were very well made. Small tables, vintage look, wide range of age in customers, and sports decor , all very eclectic, but so glad we went. Restrooms available, downstairs, but part of the restaurant. But when I asked, the woman behind the counter, reading a magazine didn't look up, she just nodded and pointed. When it was time to order we had a waitress eager to take the order, but when we were done, we could not get her attention away from what I assume was a local...but all was well, we were able to pay and finally leave (we had a trail to finish). But yes I would go again.

This is one of the few early Italian caffes still in existence in the North End. I like the layout of a narrow front that widens in the back for extra room there for a large table of friends. The pasties are great, and the gelati is all homemade.

I came here specifically for a cannoli and it was very good. The service was also friendly and quick.

We stopped in here after the parade for some warm drinks. Well, and some limoncello too! They have some great drinks and snacks in a relaxed setting. The locals were fixed on the soccer game on the TV and everyone was friendly.
