Went with another couple (one who is Italian) for dinner. The burrata appetizer was maybe the best cheese I have ever had. We literally fought over the last bite of the creamy amazing ball of yumminess.

We each ordered a different pasta. The portions are very generous, none of us finished ours. They were all authentic and full of flavor. If you are looking for warm fuzzy staff, look elsewhere. This place is old school, and it's wonderful.

Went here on a Thursday night 7 in the party. Upstairs holds about 20, downstairs 30. Small and "mom and pop". Seated right away, good bread, nice waiter, and fairly priced wine. Eat up a storm of food-pasta orders large and can be shared
Chicken Parm good! Order a bunch and share-that's the way to go
We had multiple apps, 7 main courses, 2 bottles of wine and several dessert wines and total bill including tax and tip $380 for 7. Pretty good!....

My husband and I happened upon Maurizio's 20 years ago. It is at the end of Hanover
Street away from the busier end and it could easily be missed. It was our favorite spot while living in Boston. After moving to the suburbs, we haven't been for years. We just went to the North End on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and decided to stop in for lunch. The owner, Linda, greeted us and was our server. The restaurant is small (there is also a downstairs open at dinner). We had a nice red wine from Sardinia well priced at $29. The burrata salad with prosciutto was great. Our entrees were excellent. I had the cod special and my husband had pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe. Looking forward to going back! We've been to all the restaurants in the North End and this continues to be one of the best.

I'm Italian so I'm a pretty good judge on legit homemade food. This was delicious! We had the gnocchi and fettuccine with shrimp and scallops. Also the burrata fresh mozzarella, just delicious! I highly recommend! Also our server was excellent. Highly recommend!!

One of the best Italian dinners we've had outside Italy. We will be back here. Linda and her staff made us feel like famiglia.
