The live music at brunch time is turned so low you can barely hear it, it sounds more as a background recording.... the food is subpar, hollandaise sauce on Eggs Benedict was inedible, the door welcome spotty as they forgot about us within minutes.
We won’t visit again and wouldn’t recommend this place.

Thank Marianna A

Beehive's atmosphere is warm and friendly from the moment we walked through the front door. We were immediately seated at a great table on the balcony where we could easily see the musicians and the stage. The decor is low key and matches the historical feel of the venue. The food is amazing. We had goat cheese grits and Brussel sprouts to start. The grits were amazing but the Brussel sprouts not my thing. I think they had horseradish as part of the spices. For main dishes we had the chick pea, cauliflower curry which was absolutely delicious and the skirt steak. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. We were not rushed at all.

The Beehive serves a great combination of well made food and music. We where there on a Tuesday night and the place was almost full and a great Jazz quartet was playing. Food is rustic but very tasty. Wine-list is very limited, but to be honest: That´s not why you would be there.
Next time in Boston: I´ll be back!

Came for dinner, and stayed for the live music. Such a fun atmosphere, great wait staff, and tasty food. We came with friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Fun place!

The whole experience of visiting this restaurant is built around the live jazz music. The musicians are charming and interact with visitors. The place itself is quite small, but very cozy.
