Description: Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere are the three things we offer to ensure you have a GREAT dining experience. Harvey's is a contemporary restaurant with an atmosphere set by old brick, decorative woodwork, and great music. We serve everything from specialty salads and sandwiches to our signature 48 hour marinated ribeyes and famous prime rib.

We pass through Tupelo a half dozen times/year and usually eat at Harveys. The outside is right off a busy street and looks average, but once inside, the ambiance is quite nice. We like both their prime rib and rib-eye; consistently moist and cooked to our requested level -always very tasty and enjoyable. The service is above average and price is about right for a nicer steak meal in middle-America.
We recommend Harveys. If you are a prime rib fan, this is your place in Tupelo.

Went here on a Sat night and it was fantastic! This was a first experience and the reviews on Trip Advisor were good. That being said, I was skeptical due to the name and not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised!

Atmosphere - So the outside of this building is super aged, and doesn’t seem like much. However, when you walk inside, it all changes for the better. Lighting is super low and furnishings look very classic with wood finishes. This makes for a great date night atmosphere. I would highly recommend for the couples night out.

Service - Very good. The policy for the place is that any waiter / waitress that walks by picks up plates, fill drinks etc. Your assigned waiter / waitress takes care of all the other items. The key is that you never want for much. Owner / manager came by and spoke to us which helped with the cozy feel of the place.

Quality / Taste - Here is where the “like” meter just goes up. Started out with the State famous “broccoli bites”. Imagine broccoli with cheese and jalapeño smashed together, breaded, then fried! OMG, they were unique and delicious. Next had a salad, then main dish. Wife got the Delta Chicken which was good. Then I got the prime rib with the cheesy jalapeño grits. This was the star of the show. The meat was tender with the right amount of fat to keep it moist. Then we finished off with a warm brownie and ice cream. It was a fabulous meal that I will cherish.

Cost - For a full 3 course meal, we got out for just over $70. That is what I would expect for this type of meal and would gladly pay it again. There are less expensive options on the menu so don’t sweat it if cost seems a little high.

In summary, we will go back and gladly tell anyone to go as well. Kudos to management, staff, cooks, owners. Great job!

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and caring. The Broccoli Bits were very different and tasty. However, they forgot our salad and rolls until we asked which was after the entrees were served. We each had prime rib which was extremely fatty and more well done than we had ordered. Got the feeling that the restaurant is usually better than what we experienced.

Thank you for your review. As much as we love hearing the good about our restaurant, we want to hear of the areas we can improve. We strive to make sure our guests leave happy, each and every time and have a great memory when they walk out the door. It seems that wasn't the case here. Please accept our apologies, and give us another try and ask for a member of our management team next time so we can make this right for you.

Love the food, service, atmosphere. Waitress had that sweet southern charm (Thanks Christina!) I first came here with my sister. We loved it so next time through the area brought my husband. He loved it too! The broccoli bites are a must! I had filet minion and my husband had ribs. Very tender and juicy! Don’t pass it by!
