Tried their Pad Thai and Fried Rice and was pretty under impressed. Neither my wife nor I finished our meals... and we love Thai food, so there it is...

Other reviews seem very positive, perhaps there is more than 1 Saffron (not sure if the address for this one is the one in the airport). Regardless, for "Airport Food," it was just OK but our wallets would have been better off had we just went for one of the other fast-food options that were less expensive.

It was such a nice surprise to find good healthy food at a decent price at an airport. The woman at the counter helped me find the right dish with the right amount of spice and to accommodate my allergies.

Order, pay and seat yourself. Not fancy but food is fantastic. Service a bit dicey. All of our meals weren"t served at the same time.

mom had seen a tv interview with the chef, so we headed up to the end of India Street (which at some point includes Little Italy) to find a 'counter service' restaurant with a set of choices of 'healthy' thai food. we were NOT disappointed - there's a roast chicken feature which includes any number of parts of chicken, rice, salad, and sauce/s which is a bargain for the meal rather than ordering single parts of chicken (a la carte as it were). There are also great noodles and curries and soups. The 'especially healthy soup' (sorry, can't remember the exact name, but that's a paraphrase) is just like a good chinese tonic soup - long, slow-cooked, with good veggies and minimal spicing (think 'bone broth' in the way of goodness). We loved the chicken, we loved the noodles... oh, and the fresh mango with sticky rice was a stunning end for dessert... it's worth the trip

This is restaurant serves average noodle dishes. My family found the food to be ok at best. The service we encountered was very poor. We waited with nobody in front of us for quite a while at the counter. One of the clerks was taking phone orders, but several other workers just watched us wait. We will not be going back.
