My daughter and I ate here only after we found out Donavon's was closed for a private event. We sat close the the outside area which was nice. The waitress was nice but the food wasn’t worth the price at all. My daughter ordered the lamb chops, I ordered the garlic butter jumbo shrimp and we shared garlic mashed potatoes. The shrimp was a tad dry, I’ve had better at Red Lobster. My daughters lamb chops taste like it had shake n bake on them. Not flavorful at all! Lastly, the potatoes looked like instant potatoes, no lie. My daughter put the potatoes on her lamb chops to add flavor to both. She said to me, “we should’ve went to Ruth Chris at least we know their food is good.” Not pleased at all with our meal and definitely not worth $144. The last time I came to San Diego my husband and I ate at Donavon's. The food was awesome! Maybe next time.
