Owner description: Located in downtown San Diego, the USS Midway (Museum) was America’s longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century. Today, the interactive museum is an unforgettable adventure for the entire family as guests walk in the footsteps of the 225,000 young men who served on Midway. Visitors explore a floating city at sea, the amazing flight deck and its 29 restored aircraft, flight simulators, and are inspired in the Battle of Midway Theater, included with admission. Admission also includes a self-guided audio tour narrated by Midway sailors in English, Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, French and German. Visiting Midway is a once-in-a-lifetime experience in San Diego, known around the world as "Navy Town, USA."

Was a great way to spend an afternoon. There are some stairs so not the best if your not able to walk or get around well. Includes an audio box you carry with you which was nice. Lots to see and the volunteers are all just the best and extremely knowledgeable. Worth the money and a few hours of your time especially if your a military buff.

It was a very good place to visit, particularly since it is full of history. Enjoyed the fact that there was plenty to see and to read with it being well signed with information in front things like the planes. You have the option, if one wanted to get headphones and do a tour with them which provided more information, but I personally found that there was enough information to read everywhere on the ship. Like the fact that a lot of the volunteers were ex staff (eg had worked on the ship when it was in service). Loved the fact that you were able to walk around (below levels of the ship), this was all well sign posted and easy to follow to know which way to go. A must recommend for all ages.

We had a great time at the Midway Museum. The audio guide was a hit with kids. So much to learn and see. Don’t miss the 15 minuets long movie about Midway at the theatre inside.

Great way to spend at least half a day, especially if you use the free audio tour. Veterans and active duty get in for half price or free!

Great place to take the kids. Lots of volunteers to give you important information. Use the free guided tour for more info. I recommend taking headphones for the guided tour easier to hear.
