Fantastic Deli sandwiches...and a bar by night. Great Pimento cheese, and meats. Good soups also! Can't beat it right in downtown Manteo

Small sandwich shop but well worth the wait. The crab cake sandwich is great. The clam chowder is great too.

Finding a parking place is hard in downtown but it is worth the trouble for the tasty food at Poor Richard's.

First time and not really impressed at lunch time. We came in and stood there because we did not know if we were to wait to be seated or what. After not being acknowledged, I asked the lady if we seat ourselves. In a not so nice tone, she informed us to order first and then find a seat. Ordered BLT, pulled pork, turkey wrap, grilled cheese with bacon. Said sandwiches came with chips. Blt was good if you could find bacon. Bread was plain white bread, with tons of lettuce, one small tomato slice and little bacon. If fact, took half lettuce off and pushed bacon and tomato slice to one side of bread. Turkey wrap wasnt to have tomatoes on but did. Pork had quite a bit of meat on it with only the thin vinegar type bbq sauce. Grilled cheese was just that on white bread. Fries were seasoned and good. Even guy bringing food to table not really friendly. Not many smiles to be found by staff. Would not got out of way to eat here again, but have had worse.

good place to grab lunch...kind of greasy but that is what the south does. Burger was great- can't complain and if you like home-grown beer you won't be disappointed.
