My favorite-small, intimate and exquisite. It's always a thrill walking through the doors.

“Amazing personal art collection and great NY story”

Went to see the Frick and the Renoir exhibit. Strongly recommend the video before viewing the collection. Absolutely beautiful home made into a museum.

“A gorgeous gem”
Reviewed 8 March 2012

Want a world class experience without the crowds? Check out the Frick. It's completely doable in a few scant hours and is a beautiful and immersive atmosphere. Here, you can avoid the crowds that flock to the larger art institutions ands enjoy equally important gems, all in an unbelievably lovely building. I try to visit the Frick as much as possible, if only for an hour or so, to visit favorite paintings and enjoy the oasis in the middle of the city. If it is on view, don't miss the Bellini.

“Really Nice Little Museum”
Reviewed 8 March 2012

A really wonderful collection, and a smaller, more intimate complement to the mega-museum that is the nearby Metropolitan Museum.
