Owner description: Check out our website for specials and discounts. 8 people or less Guaranteed! Our tours are like having a friend in NYC showing you around their neighborhood. You call, we listen, and then suggest the perfect day for you in the most interesting neighborhoods: Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Times Square and many more, sampling the best foods the City has to offer. This is nothing like a bus tour; it's a personal experience where the history is part of the tour, but the behind-the-scenes stories are part of us.

We did the High Line + Greenwich Village food tour. Our guide Nancy Paris, made the origins of the High Line come to life. The food tour along Bleeker St was also full of information on the history of the West Village and included 3 desserts!!
In a follow up email she gave us the information and address of Buvette, a little French restaurant that had been recommended to us as well as updated information on Chumley. Thank you Nancy.

We highly recommend this small but very personal tour company.

Had a very informative walking tour with Todd through Greenwich Village; he made sure we were always comfortable and well fed. It was nice to get away from the usual streets and avenues, and see the "real" village. Our group was small, which helped us make friends with the other members, and it was a great chance to meet people from other parts of the world.
The stops at 6 food providers were an excellent mix of sweets and main courses, and I felt like we were really sampling some of the best NYC has to offer. I would take a guest to almost any of them when I return next time.

My wife and I just took the Hell's Kitchen + Central Park tour and it was truly fabulous. Our tour guide, Nancy, was full of interesting stories about the restaurants and the area, and the restaurants themselves were all really great, mostly small, out-of-the-way, family-owned places that you would be unlikely to discover on your own unless you actually lived in the neighborhood. A great tour for theater visitors to NY because Hell's Kitchen is just west of the theater district so you will discover a number of great restaurants that are convenient for pre- or post-theater dining that are off the normal tourist track. (In addition to the 5 restaurants we actually visited, Nancy also recommended a number of others in the area as well as a couple of bars with great views.) Finally, a piece of advice: do not eat much breakfast or plan an early dinner on the day of the tour. The "tastings" at each restaurant were very generous, much more so than other food tours we have done. We had to cancel our 6:00 dinner reservation because there was no way we could have eaten again that soon after the tour.

My partner and I did the Highline and Greenwich food tour with Billy today and we can't believe how much fun and how much food we had! We visited 3 savoury and 3 dessert places and came out of it with an excellent insight into the places we visited and a full stomach (we even brought home left overs). Billy was passionate and knowledgeable on everything we saw and that made the tour all the better, his passion for New York was inspiring and made us wanting to know everything he could tell us. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone with an appreciation for food and wanting to know more about New York.

Very generous portions, nearly a full meal at several of the stops.
Nancy is lovely and full of interesting info and went above and beyond by walking us to an extra shopping stop before saying goodbye.
