the place is nicely decorated and feels like a (very noisy) italian piazza.

We had fried Artichokes (cant do too much wrong here) and Fritto Misto (which is typically lots of little Fish and Seafood- but here just a handfull of squid and sliced zucchini) not bad but far from excellent.

Fish (whole) was well cooked and very good - though nothing outstanding. The Pasta with seafood had Squid as well. The squid had no taste and was chewy like deep frozen product. When confronting the first waiter he did not react other than a short "oh". The second waiter only insisted it was not frozen product - but also no excuse.

Wine (Primitivo) was excellent.

280$ for 4 persons with starters to share and no desert... okay?

Honestly as this place was featured as "outstanding" during our food tour - this was a bit of a disappointment for our last evening in NYC

The place is very romantic and they do not rush you with the bill when you are sitting and talking with friends even though you do not order anything anymore
The food is quite average through
Nice place to date or to come for a dinner with friends
The vine list is not impressive but the service is very good

We went to this restaurant after seeing it on Mimi Ikonn's vlog. The food was delicious! We tried their pastas and they were light, tasted refreshing and we had no complaints. The service was excellent and the ambience of the restaurant was really nice. It is slightly pricy however for gluten free I think many things are.

We had a dinner for 10 there. The service was excellent. I think most thought the food was great. It doesn't include the classic pasta dishes that one might expect but offers different some nice (but limited choices.)

The space is so nice, but the food is mediocre at best and the service is terrible. After 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting for our food, we asked for our check. "2 minutes." replied the confused waitress. The food arrived another few minutes later. It was really average. There are so many great Italian restaurants in New York City. If you are looking for a pretty space with average or below food & terrible service, Palma is for you. If not, head elsewhere.
