Would not recommend this place! The food was merely acceptable, however
other concerns existed. I was over charged, under served and lied to by the
manager Peter to my face. My original reservation for a bridal shower brunch
was for 18 people. I called Peter 2 days prior to the party and changed the
number of guests to 15. Upon returning home, my husband looked at the bill and
discovered I was charged $28 per person (price for 16 or more guests) rather
than $20.95 (price for up to 15 guests) per online menu price. I called Peter
and he repeatedly told me he did nothing wrong because I changed the number of
people too late. He asked me why I didn't say anything when paying the bill. I
told Peter that I expected him to charge me the correct price. In addition,
when I arrived with my daughter, I asked Peter about the champagne toast which
was supposed to be included. Peter stated the guests already had it. After the
party I asked the guests and they informed me that no one had any champagne. I
was deprived of giving my daughter a toast. Also, orange juice was supposed to
be served and was not. I called Sal, one of the owners and explained my
displeasure with Peter, and he stated he would make it right by me and call me
by the end of the day. Many days have past and I am still waiting for his call
back. Another downer was Peter vehemently refusing to honor a gift card that
was less than 15 months old. This establishment lacks honesty and integrity! It
also employs and unscrupulous and deceitful manager named Peter. I would avoid
this establishment....they certainly could use a lesson or two on how to treat
customers fairly and respectful! Stay away!!!.

This Restaurant could also be in Catania or Neapel.among the best sweeties i ever got.in New York ,for me,the best.better than all the famos Locations which are a "Must" in NY.

Everything is absolutely great about this place. Starting with the convenient parking lot in the back, which made it much easier in a cold winter day. The staff is super friendly, accommodating, welcoming and and often asks if there is anything that you need. The brunch is sumptuous to say the least. It includes a tray of delicious bakery items and fresh fruit. The cappuccino is very tasty, and the brunch entree too. The only comment is that there is way to much food served and we, and many tables around us, ended up bring most home. My omelette ended up in the garbage after an hour in the car with the eat on. I am European and prefer smaller portions in general, but this were way too huge even for my american crowd and made me feel like diner portions almost, rather than the beautiful Italian bakery that Bruno is.

We go here every single time we are in NYC (which is about every 4 to 6 weeks) ... we always have the cannoli which are amazing ... and trust me we have tried cannoli all over the world ... they are even better than the ones we had right in Italy ... it's a great place for breakfast or coffee ... and you have to try the cannoli.

Food and service were excellent. our only complaint was the noise level which usually is not an issue but both of my parents wear hearing aids and were therefore not able to converse with us through the meal. otherwise it was excellent
