My wife and I stopped here after touring the Empire State building. It was close to 10pm when we got here. It wasn't busy at all which we found odd, maybe because it was a Sunday night. There were a handful of people at the bar and only about 2-3 tables in the back for food. If you're looking to sit and eat at a table when you walk in be sure to walk to the back of the building, only the bar is up front.
Our server was friendly and got us seated quickly. He took our drink orders and then came back with those to get food orders. My wife got a burger which she said was cooked really well and tasted great. I got the fish and chips were was also really good. Their tartar sauce is particularly tasty. Fries were also really good.
The tables in the dining area have good views of a large central TV screen as well as other smaller ones. This night they had an NFL game on the smaller ones and one of the Cubs/Dodgers playoff games on the main screen.
The theme of the pub is definitely sports and you are literally surrounded by thousands of pieces of sports memorabilia. It's fun to look around.
If you're looking for a nice little nook pub to have good food and drinks at then I say go to Foley's.
