We had a nice casual lunch. Place was pretty packed for a Friday.

Nice space. "Cozy". Very good service.

We had one cocktail ($15) and glass of wine ($15). Appetizers were burrata (swell) and salame plate (a bit on the small side).

Entrees were pappardelle and risotto. Both quite tasty. Looked like small servings but quite filling.

Remember to ask for bread.

Damages for 2 with tip was $140.

Came here for a special birthday dinner for my husband. Heart in hand, we came with 6 people and the restaurant takes no reservations. Everyone came on time (earlyish but we were assured that mid-week at 6pm they'd be able to accomodate). Beautiful table - it's a mix of special and homey. Service was fantastic and the food was, quite simply, perfect Tuscan. We asked for more homemade bread just so we could wipe up the sauce from the pasta bowls!!! That simple salad is perfection. How often do you leave a restaurant and dream about coming back for the perfect bowl of greens?!

We first went o Via Carota a couple of years ago - just found it on a walk in the West Village one day and stopped to have brunch which was fantastic. We later heard Andy Cohen say it's one of his favorite restaurants in the city and knew we would go back on our most recent trip to NYC (June 2018) and it was absolutely delicious this time as well. I would imagine anything on the menu is incredible because everything we tried was wonderful from the appetizer to pasta dishes. We took recommendations from our waiter, Ash who was awesome. Will definitely go back each time we visit the city!

the greatest pasta - and ambience and loved everything about it - the tables outside the service - and it was not that expensive.

really happy with this place, was recommended by a local! Line was short (relatively), had the boar pasta which was fantastic. Cocktails and food were very fairly priced
