If you are looking for a great Black and White cookie, than look no more. Amy's Bread in Hell's Kitchen is the absolute best! Baked fresh daily and at a very good price. While you are there, try their home made Hot Chocolate -- it is so good and made with chocolate ganash.

My daughter is still talking about the pink cake...We had a slice and cafe au lait's along with a sandwich. Everything was great - next time I will try the coconut cake.

While staying in New York, at the New Yorker on 8th and 35th, I decided to try out Amy's as I had heard great things. My partner slept late so I walked there in the morning, about 11 blocks. Took 15 minutes but 9th avenue was really interesting as I walked with dancers practicing steps and saw New Yorkers starting their day. When I arrived the place was very small but not too packed. I purchased a Cherry Cream Scone and a coffee and the same to bring back to the hotel (different type of scone). They had a great selection of baked goods as well as breads and the service was very friendly. The scone was very good with lots of sour cherries and a wonderful texture and crunch exterior , while the coffee was delicious. It was also one do the quieter places I went to on New York.

Don't miss to stop for breakfast by Amy's bread: delicious muffins and cookies that really deserve to be tasted! Cupcakes are good too, and not so heavy as they can seem!

Always like the breads here and after more than 10 years, l am glad that the bakery is still around and growing strong. Good locally made breads ~ had the rosemary stick and nut roll. Both are flavorful and choking with good nutrients. You can feel it.
