We have stayed at The Kimberly several times. April 1, 2018 was: 1) my 70th birthday, 2) Easter Sunday, 3) April Fools Day.
So we orders room service for breakfast. The bill came to just over $75.00.
The waiter forgot the sugar for our coffee, the granola for our son, plates for my wife’s pastry basket, spoons, etc. My wife got two small bagels - no cream cheese - one small muffin and two mini croissants.
When we complained, he said there was no more cream cheese in the hotel but he would check upstairs in the rooftop lounge. That was the last we saw of him.
So, my wife went down to the front desk. They waived the charge for the botched service and gave us complimentary breakfast the next day at the rooftop lounge. The very nice lady at the front desk was appalled.
Despite this incident, we are very likely to return and to recommend this hotel to friends and family.More
