We've at the Blakely for a week. And it was a very nice stay.
I've been to NY in 1980 and never went back since. At that time, the city was quite violent, a little decadent, but now, what a city!
We were a little worried about the hotel, everything is so big at NY, but this hotel is charming! It isn't big at all and the staff is great, the rooms clean, silence, and you can walk everywhere, specially to the central park. At night is very safe and at the morning, you can choose from the hotel's breakfast or look for another place to eat. We ate at the hotel only once...so...
Only make sure you don't smoke, because it was given to us a smoking room that smell very bad, but they moved us instantly, when we complained about it.
I hope I can go back to NY soon, if yes, Blakely again!More
