Not a super great neighborhood but its kind of humbling to be in the actual rooms where the Wrights did their tinkering to develop heir bicycles and then the airplane.. Well laid out and filled with coll exhibits and artifacts.

Great place to learn about the birth of flight driven by these two remarkable men. The site also focused on Paul Dunbar a successful African-American poet and author unknown to us before this visit. Well worth the stop.

It’s so fun to see where flight started. The exhibits are fabulous. Don’t miss the 30 minute video in the main building. Also, kids can participate in the Dayton Aviation Trail and earn Wilbear Wright by visiting sites in the area.

Looks like it might have been on a normal business day over 100 years ago. Close by the Wight Brothers museum so just a short walk and a must see when you are in the neighborhood.

If you like bicycles then you will get a kick out of this. Go to the interpretive center and check out all it offers and then make sure to get a tour of the bike shop itself next door. What you see here is not really the important part. What you feel as you try to understand how two brothers were trying to scratch out a living and then got caught up wanting to do something more....and boy did they! Write yourself into the script a little.
And remember, if you can't get your business off the ground, maybe you should try something else.
