I had to stop at this cemetery and Check out the graves of The Wright Brothers, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Charles Kettering, The Patterson's, The Ritty's the boy and the dog, and other important historical figures. The grounds were well kept and from the overlook you get beautiful views. Was well worth the visit.

When visiting a new city I always like to drive through the local cemetery. This place was like a museum in it’s self. You could tell there used to me money in Dayton just by driving through this place (Dayton it’s self was a bit of a rust belt disappointment).

Starting on a huge hill and cascading down the place was something to see.

After visiting some of Dayton's historical sites, it's a nice stop to see the final resting places of those individuals. It is well maintained and worth the stop.

A great place to spend a weekend afternoon taking in the amazing people who once lived and thrived in Dayton making Dayton one of the most innovative cities in the early 20th century. Paul Lawrence Dunbar, the Wright Brothers and many more historically significant people are laid to rest at Woodland.

As a bonus, there is an amazing view of the city of Dayton!!!

Enjoy!
