OMG I love this place and cannot get enough of it!!!! The food is always delicious. The staff is super sweet and always great. The place is a old house so sometimes it is a little warm but the food makes up for it. Every items on the menu is top notch and superior quality. My mouth waters writing this review.

Recommended to me and we have a terrific time. Excellent food and service. A little quirky but that is part of the charm.

While strolling the Village if Arts my husband and I decided to go in for a quick bite based on the reviews we chose Arte Caffe. We were seated promptly and offered water right away. We asked for the unsweetened iced tea, which was good. Nice mild flavored ice tea. While waiting for our meals one of the waitresses brought crusty warm bread with butter. After the first bite we noticed it to be extremely salty. We thought it was the butter that maybe was “salted butter” but decided to taste the bread alone and voila, we found the culprit. We nicely brought it to the attention of the waitress whom in returned gave us a whole sermon. She said: “ oh this probably was a bad batch, we baked it fresh daily, this was probably a bad batch, and kept repeating this while visibly annoyed. She took the bread away and while still walking away from our table she continued to say “This is probably a bad batch...We Are All Human”. Condescending, rude, nasty, defensive attitude of hers. Lack of customer service tactics to say the least! The elderly couple sitting next to us noticed her attitude, looked at us and not only commented about her rude manners but told us that their bread was also salty. We didn’t expect this nasty attitude from someone who is supposed to be there to make everything posible that you have an enjoyable meal. By doing so clients will go back or at least recommend the eatery. I have taken a picture of the history of the place and if not mistaken she seems to be part owner/Baker of the place. This makes it even worse since as an owner one is supposed to know what it takes to maintain a business alive. All she needed to simply say was: sorry for the inconvenience, I’ll bring you a different type of bread.

Went for lunch and was surprised!! Had the homemade ravioli with a vodka sauce!!! It was so delicious, my friends and I wanted to lick our plates clean!!! Great homemade bread. Desserts are homemade and out of this world!!! Can’t wait to go again!!

Omg! Are you kidding? Hands down the best Italian in the area. The best restaurant in the area overall. Great casual ambience. Perfect service. Brilliant food. We were a party of eight and went family style which put us blessedly at the gastronomic whim of chef Remo. You just couldn’t ask for better. Every course was spot on. Tasty and plentiful. From anti pasta to home made breads to pizza that more than rivals that of New York City. It was all just beyond compare. Best part is that everyone makes you feel like family. When chef Remo came out to the table to greet us at the end of the meal we all thought it would be a grazie and bow out. Instead it was An hour of chatter and laughter and stories between us all. Oliver was a special surprise that delighted the crowd. We will be back soon and often. Such fun with such lovely gracious people. Thank you to Remo and Meredith and Jasmine Who made the night so special. Particularly for our guest of honor celebrating a birthday. We will be talking about this one for years.
