We stay at Tamarack Lodge Resort any chance we get. One of our favorite places . We normally rent a cabin that faces the lakes. Sitting on the porch in the morning having coffee is wonderful. Beware of bears as we normally see one each trip. If you can, time your trip for early October to see the leaves change in The Sierra. If you are lucky you will get to see the first snowfall of the season and the first fire in the lodge fireplace. We have lucked out twice.
A must visit when in California.

Dear Adad43boys,

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your most recent stay with our property. It is always great to hear for our repeat guests, especially being able to meet and exceed their expectations each stay. I'm glad that your accommodations were comfortable and Mother Nature provided great memories with the first snowfall again! We look forward to welcoming you during your next visit.

I took my husband and 9 year old son for their first vacation in the snow. We had an adorable cabin with all the amenities of a high class hotel. They have very friendly and accommodating staff. I would definitely go back. If you like cross country skiing, you can't beat it. The groomed trails are right there.

Room tip: call the hotel directly to make sure you get a room with the correct bed space

Dear Alice M,

After reading your review of Tamarack Lodge, it was so nice to read that your family had a great and memorable time with us! We certainly are experiencing a great amount of snow, so hopefully they weren't too overwhelmed, being their first snow vacation. We hope to welcome you back again soon and hope your next stay with us goes even better than your first!

Warm Regards,

I was drawn to this place because of the amount of snow that Mammoth received. This place exceeded any expectations that I had. My family could not stop thanking me for the memories that were made at this place. The staff was extra courteous and professional. The cabin was everything that I hoped for and expected. I look forward to seeing it when the snow is melted. If you get a chance to go then do it!

Room tip: Incredible views and the restaurant was amazing!

My 2 kids and I had a great experience at Tamarack Lodge. We enjoyed staying in our own cabin and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. Special thanks to Brian who helped us each night with our fire and heating needs!

everything as expected, this is not your standard off the shelf lodge...of course you know that going in. we will of course stay again & again.

one thing. we should not have to "beg" staff to get a fire going. and if they don't know how we will gladly help. having a fire is a "biggie" when staying at a this resort!
